Q. Where can I park for the parade?
A. Public parking is available on 2nd Ave and Jackson, 5th Avenue/Van Buren and 1st Ave/Monroe. Handicap parking spots are available in those designated areas. Surrounding neighborhood streets available for additional parking.
Q. Where are the bathrooms located for the parade?
A. Port-a-potties are located every few blocks along the parade route. Please see parade map for more more specific details.
Q. Do I have to wear a costume to the Orange Tie Ball
A. No, however we do encourage dress attire, but a costume is not required.
Q. Where can I buy buttons?
A. Buttons are available for purchase at our store, online or at the Anoka Chamber. At the beginning of the school year local school children start to sell them for fundraising purposes. You can see the full list HERE.
Q. How do I become a volunteer?
A. Email us at anokahalloweenfestival@gmail.com with your contact information. Someone from our committee will reach out to you with more information. We also have meetings at the Anoka American Legion on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm, join us!
Q. When is the gift shop open?
A. Our store, located next to Dan Gould Jewelers, is open the second Friday and Saturday from 10-5 each month. We do open more frequently in September and October. Watch our Facebook page for special announcements. Our store is ran by 100% volunteer and proceeds help fund our many scholarships and educational donations for our local schools.
